Baked Lemon & Sole Fillet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound of Sole Fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
  • Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Prepare the lemon mixture:

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Arrange the fillets:

Place the sole fillets in the baking dish in a single layer, spooning the lemon mixture evenly over the fillets. Feel free to add a couple of lemon slices on top for extra flavor and presentation.

  • Bake:

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork (If desired, broil for the last 1–2 minutes to lightly brown the top).

  • Garnish and serve:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
